Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how HustleNumbers ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the website at hustlenumbers.com and its calculators and tools (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information you provide to the calculators
Our calculators and document generators run as code in your web browser. The figures you enter (income, fees, hours, invoice details, and so on) and the results produced are processed locally on your device. They are not transmitted to, collected by, or stored on our servers. We do not see, receive, or retain your calculator inputs or results.
Local storage on your device
To make the tools more convenient, some tools save information in your browser's local storage (a private area on your own device) — for example your most recent inputs, saved drafts (such as an invoice or proposal), and preferences. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Shareable result links
If you use a "share" feature, the inputs you choose to share are encoded into a link (in the URL). Anyone you give that link to can see those values. We do not store these links; they are generated and read entirely in the browser.
2. Information collected automatically
Like virtually all websites, when you visit the Site our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically records standard technical data for security and reliability, which may include your IP address, browser type and settings, device and operating-system information, referring page, and the date/time of your request. This data is processed by our hosting/CDN provider (for example, Cloudflare or a comparable host) under its own terms and privacy practices.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies only as described here:
- Strictly necessary: the core calculators function without tracking cookies.
- Analytics (if enabled): we may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage (such as which tools are popular) so we can improve the Site.
- Advertising: the Site is supported by display advertising provided by Adsterra and its advertising partners. Advertising is loaded only after you consent via our cookie banner. When loaded, these partners may set and read cookies or similar identifiers on your device to serve, cap, and measure ads, including personalized advertising where permitted by law and your choices. Adsterra's handling of data is governed by the Adsterra Privacy Policy. You can also control interest-based advertising industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
We request your consent before setting non-essential (analytics/advertising) cookies, and we honor recognized opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). You can review or change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link shown on the Site.
4. Affiliate links
Some outbound links on the Site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. Clicking such a link may allow the destination or its affiliate network to set cookies. Affiliate relationships never influence calculator results, which are always based only on the figures you enter. Pages containing affiliate links will carry an appropriate disclosure.
5. How we use information
We use the limited information described above to: operate, secure, and maintain the Site; understand aggregate usage and improve our tools; display advertising that helps keep the Site free; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information for money.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your calculator inputs (we never receive them). We may share the limited automatically-collected data described above with service providers who operate the Site on our behalf (hosting/CDN, analytics, and advertising partners), and we may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
7. Your privacy rights
California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for monetary value; however, the use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out using our cookie/consent controls (where offered) or by enabling the Global Privacy Control in your browser. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
EEA / UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability regarding personal data we control. Our legal bases are our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and, for non-essential cookies, your consent (which you may withdraw at any time). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 11.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and small-business audiences and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.
9. International users and data transfers
The Site is operated from, and its providers may process data in, the United States and other countries. By using the Site, you understand that information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from those in your country.
10. Data security and retention
We rely on reputable providers that use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Server/CDN logs and advertising/analytics data are retained by those providers according to their own policies; information stored in your browser's local storage remains until you clear it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date will change. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to legal@hustlenumbers.com.
